Our investment in growing the Impact Academy this year meant growing our team with internationally experienced people that share our goals to not just make difference but scale it. Janelle van de Velde joined Impact Academy as General Manager in July this year and she brings a wealth of business acumen and experience which has guided organisations through periods of rapid business growth, IPO and global expansion including ASX and SGX listings.

Janelle provides the discipline, governance, tenacity and agility of mind to transform ambitious start-up enterprises into multinational ASX/SGX listed corporations and she’s committed to leaving businesses in a better place than they were, through bold thinking and rigorous structure.  She can boast (but doesn’t) at least 10 years of success at the executive table, which involved partnering with CEOs to strategically guide organisations through periods of rapid business growth, IPO and global expansion.

Janelle is a seasoned stakeholder manager, building and nurturing investor and shareholder relationships underpinning the global expansion of both Linc Energy Ltd and Nitro Software Inc and has opened offices in 19 countries, negotiating contracts and resourcing personnel across 5 jurisdictions  (South Africa, USA, UK, Europe and Asia Pacific).
